A welcome from Rev'd Ann
Welcome to the website of St Peter-in-Ely. I was warmly welcomed as part-time priest of this ‘proprietary chapel’ on 22 January 2023, at the end of a curacy served in near-by St. Neots, where I had lived for 20 years after a long teaching career.
I would like everyone to feel as welcome as I do at this small but historically significant church near Ely’s famous and beautiful riverside. With my chapel warden and congregational committee, I continue to promote St Peter’s Anglo-Catholic tradition, well-loved hymns and warm, friendly atmosphere where we all know and care for one another, not only as a unique church, but as part of the wider Christian community of Ely and the surrounding area. Everyone is welcome to join us at any of our services or to contact me for a one to one chat at a time that suits. Thank you for reading this, and may God bless you. I hope to meet you soon.
