Worship
Our main act of worship is on Sunday mornings at 9.15am. It lasts just over an hour and is followed by coffee or tea in St Peter’s Church rooms just across the car park from the Church.Each Tuesday we hold a Said Communion Service starting at 10am and followed by coffee in the Meeting Room.
Holy and Festival Days are often celebrated by an evening service and these will be shown on our forthcoming events page.
VISIT OF THE BISHOP OF ELY
On Sunday, April 28th, the celebrant and preacher at the 9.15 Sung Eucharist will be the Right Revd Stephen Conway, Bishop of Ely.
Other Activities
Most Thursday evenings, a group from the congregation for Bible study and prayer together in a private house. Contact details are given in a pew-leaflet listing the details of the month's services.
St Peter’s Singers, a small choir directed by Tony Blyth, meet to rehearse at 8.30am on the morning of the fourth Sunday of the month,i n the Church.
The Church Council meets quarterly and has a shared responsibility with the Trustees for the running of the church and its mission to Ely.
We take an active part in events organized by Churches Together in Ely. CTIE.
Social events for the congregation happen at least three times over the year at St Peter's House. Usually there is an evening meal and entertainment at Harvest-tide in October, Candlemas in February and once in the Summer! We are always open to new ideas on this! Recently, there have also been pancake-parties on Shrove Tuesday
