St Peter's Church

Welcome to the Website of St Peter in Ely.

St Peter's is a small and very friendly church where a warm welcome awaits. We follow the long established tradition of High Anglicanism while at the same time proclaiming the truth of the Bible and the relevance of the Christian message of Hope to all.We share the vision of Maria Sparke who founded our Church in the 1890’s as a mission church for the people of Ely and as a place of colour and beauty.

As a small congregation we have time to pray, to study the Bible, to listen to God and to each other.

St Peters is a proprietary chapel with the ownership being the responsibility of a Board of Trustees, as established by Maria Sparke, but we are committed members of the wider Ely team of Churches and of the Diocese of Ely.
